Of what value am I, sitting idly by; the most precious
amongst us,
they so savagely let die?
Of what value are we, sweet land of liberty; throwing away the
most cherished,
of our responsibilities?
The preserving of life, our most cherished of rights; gone to
the wayside,
vanished without a fight.
We cannot take a stand, cannot express what we believe. They
hear not truth, for the lost they do
not grieve.
It is our right they scream! Our right to choose;
thinking absolutely nothing, of the precious life we lose.
Our bodies our choice they so proudly decree;
not seeing the pain, they pour on humanity.
There will be no right to life, not for you and me;
If we fail to fight for those that we have yet to see.
If a newborn baby they can stand and watch die; what is it you
suppose,
they think of you and I?
But humans have no *right* to life!
ReplyDeleteThe Only One with a right to to anything is our God and Creator. Even life isn't right except to God. Think aobut it: It's inherent in who He is as Creator.
For the rest of us, life (and everything that comes with it) is a gift from and a responsibility to the One who created us. Think about it: It's inherent in who we are as the created.
If life is our right then God was obligated to create us, making Him subservient to us. In turn, He would have no authority to judge us for what's our right to do with as we please.

Furthermore, America was sold down the river when the 18th-century founding fathers replaced Biblical responsibilities (based upon the Bible's moral law) for Enlightenment rights.
