Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also, it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.
This is the fifth rule of power tactics in Alinsky's Rules for
Radicals. Sadly, it is one that the left has mastered to such an extent that
they get away with this on a daily basis. They have learned to effortlessly
redirect and discredit anyone who goes against their agenda by ridiculing them,
and making them appear irrational. By framing their position as the
"compassionate" one, it is easy to make the opposition appear
"opposed" to what is being presented as the logical thing to do.
What many people fail to understand is the relationship between
all of these "power tactics." For instance, I recently wrote about
the sixth rule, which states that, "A
good tactic is one that your people enjoy." Essentially,
the left is having fun calling you names and ridiculing you because as the
fifth rule clearly states, your reaction to their accusations only works to
their advantage. Once they lay the ground work and accuse you of being for or
against, it is easy to use your reaction as proof of their position.
This is playing out very well on a large scale when it comes to the issue of race. For the duration of the Obama presidency, any opposition to socialism has been brushed aside as "racist," and the left has continually accused the right of not liking the president simply because he is black. While we all know this is ridiculous, we fail to see the effectiveness of such a tactic. It’s as if the left knew that Obama's drive to fundamentally transform the nation would eventually wake up the majority of right thinking Americans so, they intended to discredit such a movement by preemptively labeling it racist and extreme. What I am saying is that the more people oppose Obama's policies, who are being portrayed as the right thing to do to a very misinformed part of the population, the easier it is to label the nation "racist," especially when our children are being indoctrinated into the theology of racism by being taught "white privilege." Having been exposed to this indoctrination myself, I can attest to the fact that the left can easily discredit your opposition to such nonsense as being racist itself.
We are also watching this tactic being played out with the
Bergdahl situation. The Obama administration is actually attempting to
discredit an entire platoon, people who actually knew Sgt. Bergdahl, as being
"psychopaths" because they are telling the truth. To understand the
depths of this depravity you must first understand the targeted population.
Obama and his propagandists know we aren’t buying this or any other part of his
agenda, hence the use of the race card to continually discredit us. He is
targeting an audience that has his back no matter what he does. This audience
already views the military with "disfavor," believing that they are
psychopaths, so it will be increasingly easy to carry this narrative as people
scramble to react to such an offensive accusation. This is such a low blow, a
severe dishonor to the nation and the people who have sacrificed everything
so this nation can be free.
As long as the left is in a position where it can control the
narrative, and the right fails to acknowledge what it is dealing with, nothing
will change. As I have demonstrated in several articles, the left knows
no moral boundaries and their main objective is accomplishing their
"utopian paradise" at all costs, and they will destroy anyone
who stands in their way with lies and ridicule. Consider this quote
from Rules for Radicals- "To say
that corrupt means corrupt the ends is to believe in the immaculate conception
of ends and principles. The real arena is corrupt and bloody. Life is a
corrupting process from the time a child learns to play his mother off against
his father in the politics when to go to bed; he who fears corruption fears
life." What Alinsky is saying is that there is no absolute morality,
and to believe that there is means living a life of fear, or being afraid to
act. Alinsky believed that a person of conscience was conflicted by morality,
while a man of action should be willing to let go of preconceived notions of
right and wrong. "He
who sacrifices the mass good for his personal conscience has a
peculiar conception of personal salvation; he doesn't care enough for
the people to be corrupted for them." You
see, we are dealing with an ideology that puts its objective of communism
as the highest form of morality. The left knows it is being nasty, the left
knows it is lying, the left knows you are not racist, but they will corrupt
themselves for their god; which is the state run utopia.
This is what makes the left so difficult to beat; this
represents morality vs. no morality. America, we are dealing with people who
are willing to lie, cheat and steal to achieve a system that has done nothing
but cause death and suffering. There is no equality in communism folks. Shouldn’t
we as a moral people, a virtuous people, be able to find a way to use our
values and beliefs to stand up to these radicals who believe in nothing and put
them in their place? Perhaps we could start by ceasing to be afraid of being
ridiculed and telling these people to simply shut their mouths for a change.
